Christine Chapman: Good morning, everyone, and welcome to our first meeting of the new term. We have not had any apologies this morning.
Cynnig o dan Reol Sefydlog Rhif 17.42 i Benderfynu Gwahardd y Cyhoedd o’r Cyfarfod Motion under Standing Order No. 17.42 to Resolve to Exclude the Public from the Meeting
Christine Chapman: I move that
the committee resolves to exclude the public for the remainder of the meeting to discuss the committee’s forward work programme, its draft report on the School Standards and Organisation (Wales) Bill and its inquiry into adoption, in accordance with Standing Order No. 17.42(vi).
Are all Members content? I see that they are.

Christine Chapman: Before we move into private session, I would like to draw Members’ attention to the papers to note for today’s meeting, which include correspondence from Family Futures relating to evidence given to the committee by Dr Julie Selwyn and Dr Alan Rushton as part of our inquiry into adoption.
